Join us for engaging storytimes for children and their families and caregivers, specifically designed with early literacy learning in mind.

Summer Wednesdays

Join us on Wednesdays from June 11 –  August 6 at 10:30 AM for special guest performances as part of our Summer Explorers program. All ages are welcome with program content targeted toward school-age children. No registration is required.

June 11: Circus Manduhai

June 25: Wendy’s Wiggle, Jiggle & Jam

July 2: Science Heroes

July 9: The Bazillions (kid-friendly rock-n-roll band)

July 16: Brodini Comedy Magic Show

July 30: Hunter Marionettes (inside in Margaret Rivers A&B, upper level)

Aug 6: Puppet Show – The Three Little Pigs (inside in Margaret Rivers A&B, upper level)

Location: Weather permitting, most programs will be on the 4th Street lawn. Please bring a blanket to sit on or a lawn chair if you need one. We ask that all lawn chairs and strollers be set up or parked around the edges of the audience space to maximum collective viewing sightlines since attendance is often large at summer programs. Programs will be moved inside to the Margaret Rivers Room if there is inclement weather.

Summer Preschool Storytimes

Join Baby Bear and Miss Kim for special Summer Preschool Storytime featuring stories, songs, poems and more to nurture early literacy skills. No registration is required. Programs will take place upstairs in the Margaret Rivers Meeting Room on the upper level of the library.
