Help Shape Stillwater Public Library’s 130 Books of Impact
In 2027, Stillwater Public Library will celebrate 130 years of serving our community. To mark this milestone, we’re creating a community-curated list of the 130 Books of Impact—a collection of books that have informed, inspired, challenged, or changed readers in Stillwater.
We’re inviting local organizations, businesses, schools, nonprofits, faith communities, civic groups, and other community groups to help create this list.
- Submit up to 10 books for possible inclusion in the 130 Books of Impact. These can be titles that have been meaningful to your organization’s mission, your staff, your members, or the community you serve. Fiction or nonfiction, classic or contemporary, local or global—there is no single theme.
- For each title, please include the author. You’re also welcome (but not required) to share a brief sentence or two about why the book was selected.
- Submit your organization’s recommendations online by October 1, 2026.
Because we expect to receive many thoughtful recommendations, not every title submitted will appear in the final list. A committee will review all submissions and create a final collection that reflects the many perspectives, experiences, and values that make Stillwater vibrant.
We can’t think of a better way to celebrate 130 years than by hearing from the organizations that help make Stillwater the community it is today.
