Show your talent and creativity by designing a new, limited-edition library card for Stillwater Public Library.
In 2027, Stillwater Public Library turns 130! We’re planning a year-long celebration honoring the stories, people, and community that have shaped the library since 1897. As part of our anniversary, Stillwater Public Library will hold a contest to design a new limited-edition library card. The winning card(s) will be released in 2027.
How to enter:
- Open to Stillwater, Bayport, and Washington County Library cardholders of all ages, from kids to adults. Don’t have a free library card? Stop by the library or apply online.
- Print out and turn in this entry form and card template to Stillwater Public Library.
- Prefer an online submission? Submit via our online form!
- Limit one entry per person.
- Submit your entry in person before 5:00 PM or online by 11:59 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
Design specifics:
- Entries should highlight the library, literacy, or reflect what the library means to you.
- Designs must be original (no AI-generated images) and previously unpublished. Designs cannot use copyrighted characters, names, logos, or other design elements, or artwork created by other people.
- Designs must be completed using the paper template or following the digital specs.
- Digital artwork for the card and key tag must be 4.75″ by 2.125″ with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Art that touches the edge of the card should go all the way through the blue bleed area. View digital template. File formats accepted: pdf or jpg.
- Do not include your name in the artwork.
