Use your imagination to discover gardening through the eyes of pollinators! Visit the “Pollination Station” and use “Bug Bucks” to procure magnifying glasses, binoculars, and more while exploring the library’s “garden” and “compost pile.” Feed “royal jelly” to “baby honey bee larvae” and mix up pretend bee bread in the “honey bee hive.” Glimpse the way that many insects see the world around them through faceted prism viewers, and learn about native super-pollinator solitary bees.
Open during library hours, the Discovery Room invites kids and caregivers to play and learn together. Created by library staff.
