Audiobooks
Audiobooks are available on CD and downloadable formats. View our collection of audiobooks on CD or eAudiobooks in the catalog. You can then search by title and author. For help, feel free to contact us at 651-275-4338 or splinfo@stillwatermn.gov.
Building Accessibility
Stillwater Public Library is ADA compliant. The Third Street, Fourth Street and parking ramp entrances have doors that open with a push of a button. We have multiple internet terminals at a height outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Doorstep Delivery
We deliver books and other materials free of charge to residents of the City of Stillwater who are temporarily or permanently unable to get to the library due to illness or physical limitations. Contact us at 651-275-4338 for more information. Washington County residents living outside of the Stillwater city limits should contact Washington County Library or call 651-275-8500.
Hearing Loops
Hearing Loops are located in the library’s meeting rooms and storytime room. The assistive listening systems deliver clear, pure sound directly to hearing aids.
Large Print Materials
Materials in larger type faces are available in fiction and nonfiction books and magazines. These are listed in the library catalog. You can also search by author and title.
Library Lockers
Use our library locker service to pick up books and other materials from lockers located just inside the double doors from the library parking ramp. Pickup is by appointment only during library hours. Register for a library locker pickup on our calendar.
Magnification Devices
Windows Magnifier available on all public internet terminals. All public internet terminals offer built-in sticky key functionality. Magnifying glasses available.
Parking
The library has two accessible parking spaces in the parking ramp on Third Street and one accessible spot in the surface parking lot on Fourth Street.
Service Animals
Service animals can accompany people with disabilities in all areas of the library where members of the public are allowed.
