Book Club Kits
Everything you need to start your own book discussion group! Kits contain 10 copies of a title, plus a discussion guide. Adult fiction, adult nonfiction, and children’s titles are available.
Loan period is 6 weeks.
Children's Book Bundles
Children’s Book Bundles offer a convenient way to enjoy themed selections of five books, thoughtfully chosen by our librarians based on popular subjects.
Loan period is 3 weeks.
DVD Players, DVD Drives, and Portable CD Players
Enjoy the library’s vast collection of CDs and DVDs with portable region-free players!
Use the DVD player to watch on your television and the DVD drive to watch on your computer (not Blu-ray compatible). Use the portable CD player with headphones to listen to books or music on the go. CD Player, DVD Player, and DVD Drive must be checked out and returned to Stillwater.
Loan period for DVD drive and player is 1 month. Loan period for CD player is 3 weeks.
Hotspots
Borrow a wireless internet connection for use at home or on the go with a hotspot.
Stillwater Mobile Hotspots must be picked up and returned to Stillwater only. Mobile Hotspots from Washington County Library may be picked up and returned to any Washington County branch or associate library location.
The loan period is 1 month.
Laptop Kits
Stillwater Public Library lends Dell Latitude laptops with Windows 10. The laptop kit includes a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot for internet connectivity.
Laptop kit must be picked up and returned to Stillwater Public Library.
Loan period is for 3 weeks.
Memory Minder Kits
Spark memories and create conversations with our Memory Minder Kits. 39 unique kits are available for those with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory loss and for their caregivers.
Loan period is 6 weeks.
Nature Backpacks
Check out a Nature Backpack and embark on an outdoor adventure with hands-on tools that kids can use in the field like true scientists.
Loan period is 3 weeks.
Telescopes
Explore the universe with a library telescope kit! Experience detailed views of the moon or search for celestial objects like nebulas and star clusters. This is a great compact scope for beginners.
Loan period is 3 weeks.
Virtual Reality Kits
Launch into a new world of learning and fun with a Meta Quest 2 VR Headset and Meta Quest 2 Touch Controllers. Download a free app onto your phone or tablet, pair the VR kit to your device, pick a game, and start playing.
Loan period is 1 week with no renewals.
