eBooks, eAudiobooks & eMagazines

Use Libby to read eBooks and eMagazines and listen to audiobooks instantly from the MELSA: Twin Cities Metro eLibrary. Have your library card barcode handy and download the Libby app to get started.

Get started:

  1. Install the Libby app from your device’s app store.
  2. Open the app and search Washington County Library, then select MELSA and add your library card info.
  3. Browse and check out your eBook.
  4. Read your eBook with Libby or send it to your Kindle.

Movies and TV

Use Kanopy to stream select movies and TV shows on a video platform available through OverDrive. Have your library card barcode and PIN ready to get started.

Get started:

  1. Download the Kanopy app or open Kanopy on your preferred device
    • Computer: Visit the Kanopy website to stream videos on your computer.
    • Smart Phone: Download the Kanopy app for iOS or Android devices.
    • Smart TV:  Use the Kanopy app on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire Stick, and more.
  2. Find “Washington County Library – Minnesota,” and log in with your library card number and PIN.
  3. Create a Kanopy account using your name, email, and password. This account will allow you to log in across devices.
