DVD Players and DVD Drives
Enjoy the library’s vast collection of movies and television programs on DVD with a portable, region-free DVD player. Borrow a player to watch shows on your television or check out a drive to view on your computer. They’ll play audiobooks and CDs as well, but they aren’t Blu-ray compatible.
Player or drive must be checked out and returned to Stillwater. The loan period is 1 month.
Laptop Kits
Stillwater Public Library lends Dell Latitude laptops with Windows 10. The laptop kit includes a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot for internet connectivity.
Loan period is for 3 weeks. Laptop kit must be picked up and returned to Stillwater Public Library.
Wi-Fi Hotspots
Borrow a wireless internet connection for use at home or on the go with a hotspot.
The loan period is 1 month. Stillwater Mobile Hotspots must be picked up and returned to Stillwater only. Mobile Hotspots from Washington County Library may be picked up and returned to any Washington County branch or associate library location.
Telescopes
Explore the universe with a library telescope kit! Experience detailed views of the moon or search for celestial objects like nebulas and star clusters. This is a great compact scope for beginners.
Loan period is 3 weeks.
Book Club Kits
Everything you need to start your own book discussion group! Kits contain 10 copies of a title, plus a discussion guide. Adult fiction, adult nonfiction, and children’s titles are available.
Loan period is 6 weeks.
Memory Minder Kits
Spark memories and create conversations with our Memory Minder Kits. 39 unique kits are available for those with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory loss and for their caregivers.
Loan period is 6 weeks.
Nature Backpacks
Check out a Nature Backpack and embark on an outdoor adventure with hands-on tools that kids can use in the field like true scientists.
Loan period is 3 weeks.
